My 7th month Pregnancy

November, Madelynne Ray, is viable. I feel her stronger roundhouse kicks and punches. My belly has gotten bigger and heavier. I have gained 14 lbs. from my pre-pregnancy weight. Everything is doing great, except last Teusday, the 25th, I was rushing to go to work and I fell from our stairs. I hit my Right side of my tummy and that prompted me to be in triage in L & D where I work. I thought I was just going to be on that bed for couple of hours, but I lasted 8 hours on that bed, because I was contracting. So, I hydrated myself. I said, " I don't think I can last on this bed when I will get admitted." It was uncomfortable, and I like to move a lot so as my baby in my tummy. I had my ultrasound for her growth scan and she is right on the dot on the 15th percentile of her growth. She was 3 lbs and 6 oz last week. We got a beautiful profile of her, however she was moving a lot and that we couldn't get another one. Mark on the other hand found a new hobby....fishing. He brought home 18 inches, small mouth bass. I will get to taste it tomorrow. We have started the baby's room. Mark painted it with a calm green with dark purple stripe. We have applied butterflies on the walls. We are getting excited to meet our bundle of joy. 8 weeks more to go, God willing, we will be holding her and enjoy our next odyssey with Madelynne Ray. Enjoy the pictures....

LAKE TRAVIS
Mark and I spent our last weekend "together" before our baby arrives. Through our timeshare we rented a condo last weekend @ The Shore in Lake Travis, TX. The lake was few steps from our condo. There were deers all over. Mark wanted to BBQ one of them, but it was prohibited to catch them. Since they are very tamed, the humans can feed them very closely. Mark's friend, James and his family, visited us for the day. We drove to Austin to see the bats fly off, but since it way daylight yet, we killed time by driving to Georgetown to go to Inner Space Cavern. There I saw one of God's wonderful creations....calcium deposits that developed through time from Hard water. Enjoy the pictures....

Hodgepodge

Here are assortment of pictures of my 5th and beginning of my 6th month pregnancy. The ultrasound pictures are form my 17th week and my 23rd week. My baby is very active. Mark enjoys feeling her move. She kicks, she punches and just does her acrobatic movements often. Yes, we are having a Girl! We are very excited. So we have started shopping around for baby's registry. This week is the start of my 6th month. I cannot help but include Papa and Mama's recent pictures when I took them out for lunch a couple of times. Last Sunday was a nice day to do some yard work, so we weeded our very dry flower bed. Oreo and Cookie kept themselves busy in the backyard. Enjoy the pictures.

INTO THE WEST SUMMER VACATION

It was planned that we will drive into the west for our summer Vacation, since Anna will be with us for 3 weeks during her summer vacation. We packed out little car and prepared Mark to drive for the long haul, with his little pregnant wife ( "that's me") and his daughter, Anna. Mark drove 12 hours to our first stop, Albuquerque, NM. The we saw Pueblo houses and interesting colored rocks and canyons....Before we ended up that night, we drove to Barnes and Noble to buy Anna some books for her to read during our journey. Mark enjoyed his coffee in the bookstore and I browsed through the pregnancy magazines. The next day, our destination was Flagstaff, AZ, but we stopped at Earl's Family restaurant for brunch where the Native Americans have their little jewelry stand outside and some of the come to our table and sold pottery and jewelries. I bought Mark couple of the potteries and Anna few bracelets, of course I bought me a bracelet too.
We arrived in Flagstaff to our Hotel, which was very conducive, then we decided to drive to the Grand Canyon since it was 80 miles away and we had the time for that day. It rained during our drive, but as we got the the park, it was dry. We had a little trouble finding one of the lookouts....but the price of it all was to see one of God's wonderful creations... the Grand Canyon. It was peaceful....I heard the smoothness of the mild wind blowing through the Canyon. As our day ended, we went to sleep to our cozy bed.
After breakfast, we headed to Las Vegas wherein we planned to stay for 4 days for my Father's side of the family's reunion. However, we also met my cousins at my mother's side. It was nice to see them. It was hot and tiring to walk around the strip during the day, we wanted to see alot of the hotels, but time was not enough. Out last night in Vegas was nice, because we watched Mytere by Cir de Soleil. It was a beautiful, funny program.
Monday, July 28, we headed to Sacramento to meet with Mark's bestfriend, Steffan & his family; and one of my bestfiends, Menchu and her family too. Steffan was Mark's best man on our Wedding and Menchu was my matron of honor. What a coincidence that they are both around Sacramento, CA. We also met my cousins on my father's side, they cooked us dinner, "pinakbet," because I haven't had rice for a while. Menchu and Val bar-b-qued some ribs and prepared lots of food for us to eat. Anna loved the Cantaloupe that was sliced....they were sweet. We also ate at a Japanese restaurant and on our last night, Steffan grilled some bratwurst, hotdog and my beef for a little gathering in his house. We ended up with our good byes for our 2 weeks of vacation was about to end.

MOTHER'S DAY 2008
We started Mother's Day by greeting my mother-in-law over the phone. After getting ready, I pinned my mom her corsage before heading out for a brunch at the new Shilo Inn Restaurant. It was a bit cool when we headed out, but the sun was shining to all of the mothers. After our brunch, I received a phone call from my step daughter as well, which she hasn't missed since 2003.

WORKING ON THE MUSTANG
Well, Mark got few of his parts to repair/renew the parts to our '67 Mustang. As you can see the worn out parts of this car. I told Mark, " What if we have the equipments like the CSI so we can investigate where did this car came through before we got it since it is older than us?" If this car could talk..... I took picture of the big spring that almost caught Mark's leg last Saturday evening. I was nervous...so our little friends and I stayed with him most of the time after that. Then I decided to have some fun with the parts. In one of the pictures, I ask Mark to receive one of the wrenches for the picture, but look at his eyes....it is sarcastic! Hahaha! I told him, I don't want my hands to be greasy!
