It's our Anniversary!

Mark and I celebrated our 4th year Annivery separately. He called very early in the morning to greet me and listened to me open my gifts over the phone. He sounded so happy when I screamed that I got 2 Thomas Kinkade paintings. He colaborated with his Mom to send the gift.
Then I treated my folks to Olive Garden at Lunch time. Papa and Mama chose couple of their healthier meals. Of course, we did not finish all! The next day, after Sabbath Services, we drove to Austin to see the Capitol. Mama is a slow walker, but she made it. Mama wears her little cardigan so she won't be burnt under the heat of the sun. We stayed in Austin for about an hour, then the folks started to be tired, so off we went home. The drive home was pretty smooth, because both of my passengers were awake which they kept me awake as I drove.

My cute parents are enjoying the heat of Central Texas. Our home air conditioning is set @ 79 degrees and yet they still wear sweat pants or pajamas to bed. Papa says he likes the heat. Mama is recovering from a cough. She is eating better now. She is so cute. I love my Mama. Today, Mama walked about 1/4 mile which is a good progress from her being weak. They enjoyed the Sabbath service today. Papa was so attentive to the sermon; he did not even fall asleep.

Towards the end of July we found out that my husband is deploying to Iraq. As you all know, we just moved here in Texas and I don't know anyone. The decision has been made after a great sign from the Almighty. We have convinced my parents to stay with me for my benefit and their's as well. I am glad that they are home with me. They keep me busy so I don't get lonely. I miss my husband very much It's been a week since I last saw him. In one of the pictures, my Honey is trying packing his gear while Oreo wanted to lay on his lap. I think Oreo was trying to say, " don't leave me."
